Hello, my name is April Young and I am an animator! I'm a very patient person, and I do not shy away for challenges because they seem to long or to difficult to achieve.
I have a passion for cartoony, simple fun stuff and I like to incorporate as much humor as I can into my work. I like to keep things simple so people get my concepts. I genuinely love people and how utterly crazy they are (especially when they think that nobody's looking)! The way that people and animals move intrigues me, which is probably why I love looking at gesture drawings so much. I'm always trying to develop that eye a little bit more, so I can end up looking at old work and saying, "I could have done that better!" This work is challenging and baffling sometimes, but I always end up finding a way to solve my puzzles through research and posing in front of the mirror like a doofus.
